Planning for Early Bird (ends 31 August)
Here are a few recommendations from what we know some of our clients have done for years
We can’t do Early Bird as a lot of New Entrants start late in the year?
This is not uncommon, often larger schools will run their main order without these new students. Then, later in the year, they run a smaller order for these New Entrants, as well as accept orders from student’s that missed out in the first order. This could be applied to Early Bird, with the majority of the schools order being placed prior to 31 August, and then its just a smaller run later in the year.
If we do our order too early before Christmas, a lot of people won’t order
We have many schools that usually order between June & August, and their volumes are just as good as schools that run very close to Christmas - so running an early order is not something that usually results in less items being purchased.
Getting the art done earlier is a good idea anyway!
We’ve always recommended getting the art done as early as possible in the year. This has become more important in the last couple of years that have been interrupted by covid closures, so if you can get the art done earlier - it gives you more flexibility to run the order at a time that fits with Early Bird.
At the very least, it means you can definitely run Calendar Art, we have options on how to take purchases without students being at school, but this can only happen if you already have the art done. Our recommendation? Get the art done as early as possible, and have it ready to run the event later in the year.
How it works and how much you save
Early Bird vs. Peak Season. Our production season will be split into two periods.
Early Bird: 1 February 2022 until 31 August 2022.
Peak Season: 1 September 2022 - 31 January 2023. During peak season all products cost $1.00 extra.
The date your Online Order closes is the date at which the pricing is set. For example:
If your main order closes on or before 31st of August, it will qualify for the Early Bird pricing.
If a 2nd order closes in October, it will be invoiced with each product costing $1 extra.
Stickers need to be applied as per the Room Checklist.
